In the 1970s, a famous Italian designer first designed a jacket like this one – light & almost entirely unlined. It preserves the outer covering for men, but makes it lighter & more pleasant to wear. We had this jacket designed & made to our specifications by the Hamburg fashion designer Marc Anthony. The jackets have a classic English cut with angled (not patch) pockets (with ticket pocket), two vents at the back & two horn buttons. The result is an ideal item of clothing for travelling, holidays or any occasion which has "casual" on the invitation. No strengthening has been done to the shoulder parts. Here, & in the sleeves, there is just a thin lining of burgundy viscose satin, so that you can slip it on easily. The inside has two pockets that fasten, one with a zip. Outer fabric 100% cotton canvas from the Italian mill Solbiati.
