Since time immemorial, stepladders like this one have been used in libraries which – measured by the tangible number of books or the height of the shelves – have slowly outgrown their owners, but arent yet so large (or high) that they need to be fitted with permanently installed ladders or laid out over several floors. Thanks to the folding mechanism, when not being used the ladder can be stored behind a curtain or a similar out of the way place, saving space. Mango wood steps, black lacquered iron frame. Size when folded out: height 72 cm, width 33 cm, depth 70 cm.
