These cases were invented for journeys by coach, by car, by rail or on a ship. & this is how they should be used. The travelling cases match the Papworth briefcases. Inside they are lined with beige cotton canvas. They have an inside pocket on the lid & two belts for fastening made from leather. Available also in small & medium sizes. Papworth was founded in 1917 & is now owned by Swaine Adeney Brigg, who were founded in 1917, &, like Papworth, have provided the English court with leather goods for decades.
